Liberty Eagle GlobeThis beautiful globe reminds us what this country stands for with Lady Liberty in the center supported by our Bald Eagle. We believe in "freedom" for all people to have the right of life, liberty, and and the pursuit of happiness.

This has been a particularly difficult page to put together and has undergone several changes. This will not be the last change.

The following poem puts many things in a different perspective and reminds us of all the heroes who were participating in the rescues in New York City, Washington, D.C. and in Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001. This is the United States and we must return to the standard we once had. We have been the shining example for other countries and a haven for oppressed people. We can be that shining star once more. God bless all people.

TWO THOUSAND ONE, NINE ELEVEN
(2001-9-11)

Two thousand one, nine eleven
Five thousand plus arrive in heaven
As they pass through the gate,
Thousands more appear in wait

A tall bearded man,
wearing a stovepipe hat
steps forward and greets them,
Then says, "Lets chat".

They settle down in seats of clouds
A man named Martin shouts out proud
"I have a dream!" and once he did
The Newcomer says, "Your dream still lives."

Groups of soldiers in blue and gray
Others in khaki, and green then say
"We're from Bull Run, Yorktown, the Maine"
The Newcomer says, "You died not in vain."

From a man on sticks one could hear
"The only thing we have to fear.
The Newcomer says, "We know the rest,
trust us sir, we've passed that test."

A man with a twang from New England shores
Then proclaimed in a voice they had all heard before
"Courage like yours does not hide in caves
You can't bury freedom, in a grave,"

A silence fell within the mist
Somehow the Newcomer knew that this
Meant time had come for her to say
What was in the hearts of the five thousand plus that day

"In the land of the living, we wrote reports,
Watched our children play in sports
Worked our gardens, sang our songs
Went to church and clipped coupons

We smiled, we laughed,
We cried, we fought
Unlike you, great we're not"

The tall man in the stovepipe hat
Stood and said, "Don't talk like that!
Look at your country, look and see
You died for freedom, just like me"

Then, before them all appeared a scene
Of ruined streets and twisted beams
Death, destruction, rubble and dust
And people working just 'cause they must.

Hauling ash,
Lifting stones,
Knee deep in hell
But not alone.

"Look! Blackman, whiteman, brownman, and yellow
Side by side helping their fellow!"
So said Martin, as he watched the scene
"Even from nightmares, can be born a dream."

Down below three firemen raised
The colors high into ashen haze
The soldiers above had seen it before
On Iwo Jima back in '44.

The man on sticks studied everything closely
Then shared his perceptions on what he saw mostly
"I see pain, I see tears,
I see sorrow - but I don't see fear."

"You left behind husbands and wives
Daughters and sons and so many lives
are suffering now because of this wrong
But look very closely. You're not really gone.

All of those people, even those you've never met
All of their lives, they'll never forget
Don't you see what has happened?
Don't you see what you've done?
You've brought them together, together as one.

The man named Abe stood and said
"Welcome my friends," and from there he led,
five thousand Newcomers, all heroes to heaven
On this day of our Lord, two thousand one nine eleven.

Twin Towers imageThis is a scene we will never forget. Will we ever know the truth about the perpetrators? It isn't likely. The evidence has been buried so deep and under so many layers of misinformation that it is almost impossible to get the truth. It's rather like the assasinations of Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. - the truth is burried very deep.

What we can do is learn from the above poem and move forward. We, citizens of these United States, must retake the country and change our image. We are a people who believe in the U. S. Consititution and what it stands for. We support world peace rather than aggressive war! We must not allow the U.S. Patriot Act (any version) to strip our civil rights in the name of "Homeland Security".

Firemen with U.S. FlagThe New York Firemen who raised our flag did so with a vision and a memory of other times.

People are beginning to leave the United States fearful the borders will one day be closed . . . then no one will be allowed to leave. They are fearful . . . Are their fears justified?

Our Forefathers had a vision to create a country that was free from religious and political oppression. How many of us are willing to stay in the United States and take a stand?

We need to exercise our right to vote! Participate in every election in your city, county, state and, most importantly, the country! And don't just vote a "party" ticket . . . vote for the most qualified person! Not just because this candidate is a Senator, Congressman, Governor . . . listen to what the candidate has to say. Who are his advisors? Pay particular attention to who is running the campaign. Are these people we want influencing one of the most powerful people in the world?

Tears of JesusThis is one of the pictures that circulated over the internet. I would imagine that all the Ascended Masters felt this way on September 11, 2001 . . . Jesus, Moses, Isaac, Jacob, Abraham, Buddha, Mohammed and more. I do not believe that the Mohammed ever intended for Islam to be a violent and destructive force. It is difficult to believe that the Creator ever intended for there to be so much hatred in this world. We need to make personal changes . . . we can't change the world unless we make individual spiritual changes.

What else can we do? Work with God, Allah, Spirit . . . asking for all the assistance absolutely possible. Love all people for we are all children of the One God!

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

When A Soldier Doesn't Come Home

When a soldier doesn't come home again,
There's so much that's left undone
Like the strings of your heart all tied around
A wonderful daughter or son.

And, where are the grandchildren, promised by God,
To be blessings in later life,
The fellowship of the families born
Because of the love in your life?

When a soldier doesn't come back again,
When the ultimate price is paid,
And you can't make a trip to see the spot
Where your beloved was laid.

When your heart hovers down, flat on the ground,
And you see that familiar wave;
Then, you feel, in your heart, "Attention!"
And you understand freedom's high pay.

It's a beautiful sight when the flag flies high;
With it's colors of red, white, and blue.
But, the flag brings a different feeling
When it's folded ... and handed to you.

I know it's only a bit of cloth.
But, the emblem of freedom is there
And it ONLY flies in the blue of the skies;
For the price paid by someone who cared.

It's almost as if a familiar wave
From someone, you love, can been seen.
Somehow they're a part of the stars and stripes
That wave o'er the land ... still free!

Oh, flag of our land, beautiful and true,
Oh, flag! Fly forever, and free!
When I see the waves of our beautiful flag,
I know that it's flying for me!

The Light of America

Like a beautiful jewel on a pedestal,
Like a city set high upon a hill,
Like a Lighthouse shining out from a mountain;
Her very name brings us a thrill!

She's the hope for all hopeless people,
Champion of the world in human rights,
A gleam of light for any suppressed nation;
A flood light in the black of night!

Shine on, America. God loves you!
Hold to all you were created for!
Let the hearts of our patriots still carry
Your liberty and hope to distant shores!

You've passed out food to many starving nations,
Sent money, aid, to many foreign lands;
A tremendous task for America,
For everywhere we turn there's outstretched hands!

Still, America hates oppression.
So, she gives until her own lights must turn low.
Send to the world a message true and firm,
For the whole wide world needs to know.

If the lights go out in America,
You won't believe how dark the world would be.
And, the lights that now shine bright and brilliant
Are tended by the likes of you and me!

So, take heart, brother, sister, in America.
Fly our banner high and keep its stripes unfurled.
For, if the lights go out in America, brave heart,
They will go out ... for all the world.

"It is not the function of our Government to keep the citizen from falling into error; it is the function of the citizen to keep the Government from falling into error."

United States Supreme Court, American Communications Association v. Douds, 339 US 382 (1950)

We commemorate the foundation of our freedom - the ratification of the Bill of Rights on December 15, 1791. A democratic government depends upon the informed and active participation of its citizens at all levels of government.

Now more than ever, we must be vigilant in guarding our civil liberties!

I give Thee Thanks ...

For all the blazing sunsets of this year.
For all those precious children, Oh, so dear.
For small and insignificant things
And for the songs that my heart sings,
I give Thee thanks.

I give Thee thanks ...

For loved ones who forgive my failing ways.
For kindness done to me on dreary days.
For lessons learned without the awful pain.
For truth that comes with value, wisdom gained,
I give Thee thanks.

I give Thee thanks ...

For all the soldiers that are serving us.
For those who bear the blessed gospel trust.
For old acquaintances renewed.
For wonders clearly signed by You,
My Lord, I give Thee thanks.

My Lord, I give Thee thanks.
