Many of our actions in live are devoted to "healing" in some form or other. Whenever we strive for harmony in our activities and relationships, we work with the healing processes in life.

Heal us, O Lord, and we shall be healed;
For thou, Almighty King,
Art a faithful and merciful Physician.

Intonation of this Hebrew mantra serves to induce harmony of purpose into any group meditation as its sounding replicates the beating of the human hearing and brings the vibrations of the individual meditators in tune with each other. It can also be used as a protective mantra by any individual at any time. Pronunciation is is brackets.

Hearken to the inner voice:
tune in to the heartbeat of thy neighbor.

we would live in a glorious world.

She is Mother of the Spiritworld, Morning and Evening Star, Dawn and Dusk. She is Mistress of the Seas, Tree of Life, Silvery Moon, Fiery Sun. All these are Her Names. Shekinah is Changig Woman, Nature herself, Her own Law and Mystery. She is cosmos, dark hole, fiery moment of beginning, She is dust cloud, nebulae, the swirl of galaxies. She is gravity, magnetic field, the paradox of waves and particles. Shekinah is unseen dark, invisible web, Creatrix of complex systems, expanding, contracting, spiralling, meandering, The beginning of Wisdom. Shekinah is Grandmother, Grandfather, Unborn Child, Shekinah is life loving itself into being . . .

The Flame

Tonight I lit a candle,
Stood there staring at the flame,
With bits of cut up paper,
Each given a different name.

I opened each one slowly,
Closed my eyes and said good-bye,
Watching the flame consume them,
I was determined not to cry.

The first one to go was "Anger,"
He was never a friend to me,
Then I added my "Frustration,"
As I hummed an old melody.

I watched the candle burning,
Smoke and relief filled the air,
I felt my stress quickly fading,
Soon I danced without a care.

The flame of a single candle,
Putting the past to rest tonight,
Tomorrow's a brand new day,
I've got a chance to get it right.

My frozen heart has melted,
"Solitude" has found the fire,
Love won't elude me forever,
I want to lose myself in desire.

"Bitterness" is gone now,
"Greed" quickly burned away,
The last one to go was "Hatred,"
Inner peace finally came my way.

The sky was so much brighter,
Stars danced in the midnight air,
One flame had done so much for me,
I wish you could have been there.

Light a candle for yourself tonight,
Cast your cares troubles away,
Don't waste your life in turmoil,
Tomorrow is a brand new day.
