Hi there! Although my cyber home is in Elysium Gates, my physical home was in the California Santa Cruz Mountains in the redwood rain forest for roughly five years. For many years before, my home was in the beautiful San Francisco Bay area. I moved to the Santa Cruz Mountains in 1999 and I loved my little cottage. Life changes and I have now moved back to Northern California. Thank you for visiting my home.
Welcome to my cottage. I have been in the cottage only since July, 1999 and the yard is in the beginning stages. It's wonderful to get back into the earth and watch everything grow. The ferns are coming back so quickly that we should be able to hear them breaking through the soil. There will be a beautiful fern bank by next spring! This is a summer morning view. It's so peaceful in the morning with the exception of the ravens who are already hunting and communicating. The squirrels aren't about yet, but they are certainly entertaining.
I found this darling little bunny quite by surprise. She was sitting on the shelf and about jumped out at me so I would take her home. She is a resin molded bunny and not a live bunny, and she is about twice the size of this image. She is so cute scrunched up in the flower bed.
This little bunny didn't move with me . . . she loves the mountains.
The Windsong Garden Fairy is a beautiful addition to my garden. She isn't an easy subject to photograph, but I waited for her to arrive for a long time. She is just inside the trellis and is one of the first faces to greet you when you come into the yard. She is a beautiful member of my garden family.
I hope to have other fairies and elves move into my yard. They make life such a beautiful experience. I may even attract a few angels. Wouldn't that be great?
The Windsong Garden Fairy remained at the cottage when I relocated. I sincerely hope that the new resident truly appreciates her presence and her beauty. She blesses the property wherever she resides.
