I belong to several organizations and would love to share them with you. Every group is wonderful and I am proud to be a member. Check them out . . . you may want to join and participate. I am including a wonderful poem that applies to every day of my life.

One Voice
by Rev. Naomi Shifra
The Universe speaks in many languages, but in only one voice.
The language is not English, or French or Chinese or African.
It speaks the language of hope.
It speaks in the language of trust, the language of strength and the language of compassion.
It is the language of the heart and the language of the soul.
But always it is the same voice...
The voice of our ancestors speaking through us.
The voice of our inheritors waiting to be born.
It is the small, still voice that says we are One.
No matter the blood, no matter the skin, no matter the country.
We are One.
No matter the pain, no matter the darkness, no matter the loss, no matter the fear.
We are One.
Here, gathered together in common cause,
We agree to recognize this singular truth and this singular rule...
That we must be kind to one and other...
Because each voice enriches us and ennobles us
And each voice lost diminishes us.
We are the voice of the Universe.
The soul of Creation,
The fire that will light the day to a better future.
We are One.

wordstitle (3K)

My friends,
I offer you my words,
Meant to express my thoughts,
My feelings and ideas,
My dreams and my failures,
Just a collection of words,
That sometimes fails,
In my feeble attempt,
To say what matters the most,
To you.

I have learned that my words,
Like the words you may use,
Have many talents.
They can lift a spirit,
Shatter a soul,
Praise those with low self-esteem,
Or cause someone I can't see,
Whom I cannot sense,
To feel utterly condemned.

When I share my words,
They are always meant to uplift.
They should offer tenderness,
Love and longing,
Faith to see a problem through,
The knowledge that you are not alone,
Hope that tomorrow will be better,
Strength for you to draw on when you're weak.

Lately, I have seen a new twist to words,
Sometimes in meaning to help,
I have made things worse,
The wrong words are simply painful,
The right words often lost in confusion,
So, I have realized,
That sometimes the most important words,
Are those never spoken or shared,
When it is best to say nothing at all.

One of the most difficult things
to give away is kindness,
for it is usually returned.
